Paul got a TV card for our kitchen computer that basically turns it into a TV - you can digitally record programs onto the hard drive. I also noticed you can pause live TV, so it’s almost like a TIVO. We recorded the Simpsons Halloween episode last night, and it was easy cheezy, so I’m happy with it. It would be REALLY nice if Paul could somehow take that signal and transfer it to the big screen TV across the room, so I can sit on the sofa and watch my programs on a 50″ TV instead of sitting on a barstool watching them on a 17″ monitor, but for now, it’s going to work for me.

I’m already all happy about going to the twin club meeting tonight because I know I’m not going to miss Medium AGAIN! Yay!

This week certainly is flying by! The playgroup Halloween party was A LOT of fun. I had a houseful of people! There were probably fifteen kids here and half a dozen moms! The weather was BEAUTIFUL and all the kids really enjoyed the backyard. It made me so happy to see that all of Paul’s hard work in the backyard was so evident - EVERYONE ooohed and ahhhhed over the arbor and the trellis and the sidewalks and the landscaping and the steps - it all really looks great. Paul did a fantastic job, even if it did take THE ENTIRE SUMMER!
